1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ApplyBetter (“we”, “us”, “our”) at careerboost.nanocorp.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ApplyBetter provides the following services:

  • Free CV Audit — an AI-generated score and feedback report based on the CV text you submit.
  • Resume Improvement ($9) — a human-reviewed, AI-assisted rewrite of your resume/CV.
  • LinkedIn Optimization ($9) — AI-assisted improvements to your LinkedIn profile content.
  • Cover Letter ($5) — a tailored cover letter written with AI assistance.
  • Full Application Pack ($19) — all three paid services bundled at a discount.

All paid services are delivered by email within 24–48 hours of receiving your materials (CV, LinkedIn URL, or job description as applicable).

3. No Employment Guarantee

We do not guarantee:

  • Job offers or employment of any kind.
  • Interview invitations or call-backs from employers.
  • ATS system acceptance by any specific employer.
  • That your application will be viewed by a human recruiter.
  • Any specific improvement in your job-search outcome.

Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control including the job market, employer preferences, your experience, and timing. Our service improves the quality of your written documents only.

4. Your Responsibilities

a) Accuracy of content

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information you provide — including your work history, qualifications, skills, education, and any other content in your CV or LinkedIn profile — is accurate and truthful. We will rewrite and polish your content; we do not verify facts. Submitting false information to employers is your responsibility and may have legal consequences.

b) Providing your materials

For paid orders, you must email your materials within 30 days of purchase. Orders where materials are not received within 30 days may be cancelled without refund. You will receive reminders before this deadline.

c) Lawful use

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to submit content that infringes third-party rights, or to attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse our AI systems.

d) Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.

5. Payment & Refund Terms

Payment

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. By completing a payment, you authorise the stated charge to your payment method.

Refund policy

  • Before delivery: If you have not yet submitted your materials and request a refund within 48 hours of purchase, we will issue a full refund.
  • After delivery: If you are not satisfied with the delivered documents, you are entitled to one round of revisions at no extra cost. We will revise until you are reasonably satisfied. If after revisions you remain unsatisfied, contact us and we will consider a partial or full refund at our discretion.
  • No refund: We do not issue refunds based solely on career outcomes (e.g., not receiving an interview or job offer), as these are outside our control.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon delivery and full payment, you own the documents we create for you. You may use them freely for job applications. ApplyBetter retains no rights to your final delivered documents.

The ApplyBetter website, brand, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyBetter’s total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of our service is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us at privacy@applybetter.com.
